Toxic Mold. Kids. Never the Twain Should Meet

Mold is a nasty subject. When a child you love develops health problems because of mold growing in your home or apartment, it’s scary. Legal claims resulting from toxic mold burst onto the legal scene in the 1990s and have tempered somewhat over the last decade. But they still form a viable cause of action.

One important issue in this area of the law is gathering enough medical evidence to prove there is a causal link between the  exposure (to mold) and the health condition (the injury). This has proved to be an all out tug of war between plaintiffs and defendants, and their legal representatives.

Over at my blog dedicated to helping parents of injured children, I’ve blogged in some depth on this topic. Please read it here –
